HSS Hire, the supplier of tool and equipment hire services, has taken almost 32,000 sq ft of industrial space at Aztec West Business Park in Bristol. The property will operate as one of its supercentres.
The deal was secured by Russell Property Consultants and DTZ in Bristol on behalf of a client of Aberdeen Asset Management. Savills acted on behalf of HSS Hire.
1550 Aztec West comprises a 1980’s semi-detached warehouse unit with a large yard and 6,689 sq ft of office space with frontage onto the M5 motorway. HSS has taken a 10 year lease on the property.
DTZ’s project and building consultancy team managed the refurbishment and fit-out works of the building, which opened earlier this month.
Michael Fawcett, DTZ Surveyor, who project managed the works, commented: “Integrating the HSS fit-out as part of the landlord’s refurbishment works ensured that the project was delivered on time and budget and an earlier hand-over date was achieved.”

In both this and the previous letting to BSS Group, they have demonstrated that they can work with occupiers to meet their individual needs and deliver the product they require within a strict timescale.”
