A world-renowned company has established a permanent presence for its European division at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire.
The European divisional office of Brammer PLC, a leading supplier and distributor of industrial maintenance, repair and overhaul products, has moved into a new building on the estate.
The office, which looks after the European tools and general maintenance division, first located to Stoneleigh Park last August, initially occupying a temporary home whilst a redundant building on site underwent a major refurbishment to accommodate its needs.
Nigel Banks, Brammer’s European Commercial Director Tools & General Maintenance, said being on site had enabled the company to work with Stoneleigh Park to create a bespoke base for the European team of 30 staff with flexibility to accommodate up to 40 staff utilising a ‘hot desk’ facility.
He said: “This new facility gives us the central focal point to help and support all of our European businesses operating in 23 countries.
“Our European Tools & General Maintenance business is growing at an impressive rate and we are targeting an improved performance on the continent in 2015. This building gives us the flexibility to adapt as we expand by providing space across three floors that can be easily modified for alternative use.
“Stoneleigh Park has been very accommodating and understanding from the start, providing us with temporary accommodation which was better than we had hoped and meant that we were here and part of the whole process of developing this building.”
The divisional office is also responsible for producing a number of major product catalogues each year which are distributed to more than 100,000 customers throughout the company’s European markets.
A studio for product photography sits alongside open plan offices, meeting rooms and an impressive rooftop boardroom in the refurbished building. In a first for Stoneleigh Park, burnt larch has been used as a more durable form of natural external cladding.
LaSalle Investment Management, which manages Stoneleigh Park, carried out a full refurbishment of the 4,790 sq ft building to high environmental standards which includes the installation of an energy efficient air source heat pump.
Colin Hooper, estates director at Stoneleigh Park, said: “When Brammer first visited Stoneleigh Park, they liked the site enough to move into a building temporarily until the one of their choice was refurbished.
“Their new building had been previously occupied by another tenant organisation which relocated within the estate to premises which we had also refurbished to better suit its needs.
“This is yet another example of LaSalle breathing new life into existing buildings at Stoneleigh Park by renovating them to the highest standards to meet an organisation’s needs of today and tomorrow.
“We are delighted to have been able to provide Brammer with the facilities to support its European growth.”
