Aberdeen-based Knight Property Group has announced plans for Kingshill Commercial Park, its £45 million 12 acre development in Westhill, Aberdeenshire.
Planning consent was granted in November 2014 for its latest development at Westhill, and ground works and infrastructure have commenced on site. Two industrial units, plots three and four, are being built on a speculative basis and will be available for tenancy from summer 2015.
Upon completion, the development will cater for 10 properties totalling 233,095 sq ft.
James Barrack, managing director at Knight Property Group, said: “2014 was an immensely busy year for the company and we were delighted to be granted planning permission by Aberdeenshire Council for properties which will be greatly in demand due to the lack of industrial property to serve the local market in Westhill. Westhill continues to be a highly desirable area for many businesses, particularly those operating in the subsea oil and gas sector.
“We strive to offer the highest quality and flexible business space, with each pavilion on the site containing an office, warehouse, yard and private parking in order to provide occupiers with an excellent working environment.”
Knight Property Group was established in Aberdeen in 1987, and is one of Scotland’s leading commercial property developers. The company provides a complete range of property investment and development services to a number of clients across a range of industries.
The Kingshill development is one of a number of Knight Property Group’s ongoing developments, which includes the Capitol Theatre on Union Street, where a £35million investment will see the listed building, which dates back to 1933, restored and refurbished to create 74,000 sq ft of office space.
