East Midlands property consultancy Innes England is celebrating this week after scooping five prestigious industry awards.
The firm has been named ‘Most Active Agent’ for both Derbyshire and Leicestershire in the Estates Gazette Interactive East Midlands competition for its work over the last 12 months.
Nick Hosking, Peter Doleman and Scott Osborne also picked up Dealmaker titles for Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire respectively.
The competition is an independent survey conducted by the EGi research team, which covers office, industrial and retail transactions between April 2014 and March 2015.
Throughout the region, Innes England completed nearly 600 deals across the industrial, office, retail, leisure, land and investment sectors for its clients.
Tim Garratt, managing director at Innes England said: “Across the region over the past year we have completed nearly 600 deals in the industrial, office, retail, leisure, land and investment sectors – something which not only illustrates the hard work put in by the team but also the improving market conditions.
“To pick up Most Active Agent in two counties as well as individual accolades for three of the team is fantastic for us. It follows our success in the national competition last month, which saw us take the top spot in the East Midlands for an amazing eighth consecutive year.”
The awards reflect a busy 12 months for the firm, which has completed a number of significant deals across the region including Derby’s biggest ever industrial pre-let of 632,000 sq ft space to Kuene + Nagel for Heineken at Derby Commercial Park, which is now in operation.
Innes England has been responsible one of the largest industrial sales in Nottinghamshire in 2014, completing a deal on Gateway 28 – a 264,450 sq ft warehouse to Legal & General as well as significant deals in the office sector including PKF Cooper Parry’s relocation to a 25,000 sq ft ‘super office’ at Castle Donington.
Tim added: “I’m really pleased to see the guys win Dealmaker awards this year, it’s fantastic for them to recognised among their peers as experts and market leaders. The property industry is on the up and this is being recognised by the volume and quality of deals that we are able to do across the region in all sectors.”
To win the awards, Innes England, Nick, Peter and Scott completed more deals than competitors in specific counties over the past 12 months.
