South Wales financial services business Kymin has made a key appointment as the company looks to continue its steady growth in 2012.
Pensions expert James Hill has been appointed para planner at Bridge Street, Newport based Kymin Financial Services.
James, aged 27, from Barry, was head hunted by Kymin having previously worked with a national IFA, in Cardiff and before that with Scottish Life.
Robin Hall, Kymin Operations Director, said: “James and his experience in the financial services sector is a key appointment for Kymin as we press ahead with our growth plans in 2012 in the ever changing and challenging world of the UK’s pensions industry.”
James, a Wales youth hockey international who plays for Llanishen & Caerphilly as striker and who also represents Barry at pool, said: “The prospect of joining Kymin, who I know well, and to become an integral part of the continuing success and growth of the company, was too good an opportunity to miss.
“I was impressed by the plans Kymin has for growth and I am keen to become a valuable part of that planned business expansion.”
Kymin Financial Services recently announced it had linked with Hancock Life and Pensions based on Chepstow Road, the oldest established IFA in Newport, to create a new force in independent financial advice.
According to Professional Adviser Magazine Kymin Financial Service came 27th in the UK’s Top Regional Financial Advice Groups at the end of 2011.
