Harris Lamb has welcomed a graduate surveyor to its property management team.
Daman Sawhney has relocated from London, joining the consultancy’s Birmingham office having spent the past four years working as an assistant surveyor at the Nua Group after achieving an MSc in Real Estate in 2010.
Gert Corfield, director of property management for the business, said: “Harris Lamb has been on a strong recruitment drive recently, seeking three new additions to the management team. Daman has worked on various projects since graduating from the University of Westminster, assisting in managing a mixed portfolio of commercial and residential properties and playing a part in the development of 34 apartments in a suburb of London.
“Daman was seeking a new challenge that would enable him to apply the skills and knowledge he’s acquired, and we were impressed by his enthusiasm and his dedication to supporting his colleagues and meeting the targets he’s set.
“The past year has been an incredibly successful one for the business and we’re growing rapidly to ensure we continue to provide the service that new and existing clients expect. We’re confident that Daman will prove to be a real asset to the team,” he added.
Daman added: “I was attracted to Harris Lamb due to its reputation as a regional surveying practice with a strong regional client base and presence. The business has an outstanding APC pass rate, which was also a key factor in my interest in joining the team.
“I look forward to expanding my experience and becoming a competent chartered surveyor with a wide range of skills and experience under the guidance of Gert and the team,” he added.
