Two East Midlands property firms are celebrating following a hat-trick of deals at Ecclesbourne Park Industrial Estate in Alfreton.
Innes England and FHP acted jointly on behalf of M7 Real Estate, a specialist investor and asset manager of multi-let industrial property, to secure lets on the remaining units, with all three placed under offer in 2015 and completed within two months following instruction of solicitors.
The units have been let to garment processor Excelpress, metal polishing and finishing firm King Precision Engineering and new start-up Today’s Wholesale Ltd, illustrating further signs that the demand for commercial property in the region continues to improve.
Stuart Waite, associate director at Innes England’s Derby office, said: “Ecclesbourne Park continues to attract businesses from across the region and this flurry of lettings further endorses the strength of J28 M1 from a logistics perspective.
“Since the beginning of the year, we are seeing good quality second-hand stock being snapped up due to the ongoing lack of availability. Whilst there are still challenges, there is clearly increased occupier confidence which bodes well for the remainder of 2015 and beyond.”
Excelpress has taken the lease of unit 3/4 at 10,000 sq ft, King Precision Engineering has let unit 9 at 6,350 sq ft and Today’s Whoelsale Ltd has taken unit 12 at 4,325 sq ft.
Ecclesbourne Park forms part of the Cotes Park estate close to the A38 dual carriageway and only two miles from junction 28 of the M1 motorway. FHP acted as joint agents with Innes England.
