A Redditch engineering business has hit the expansion trail with the help of property agents John Truslove.
CD Engineering Ltd, Unit 6 Thornhill Road, North Moons Moat, has taken extra space at Unit 1.
The move reflects a burgeoning reputation in the hydraulics sector and more than 35 years experience.
Ian Parker, a director of John Truslove, said: “CD Engineering is a family orientated company which is growing.
“It joins other established Redditch businesses that have taken the opportunity of the much improved economic climate to expand their operations.
“It is great to see there is so much extra confidence around the town.”
Sarah Swords, from CD Engineering, said: “Established in 1973, the company initially designed and manufactured specialised hydraulic equipment to the plastics industry. However, over the years, it has evolved into one of the UK’s leading hydraulic manifold suppliers.
“We can boast a wealth of highly technical and highly skilled engineers capable of accommodating customer requirements in an ever challenging environment.
“With the most updated computer aided design equipment and the latest state of the art machinery, we believe we can meet any hydraulic manifold requirement.
“Whereas many hydraulic manifold manufacturers can supply only standard ‘off the shelf’ type products, CD Engineering offers the complete customised hydraulic system package to suit individual needs.”
So keen was the firm to seize the moment that the let was agreed prior to the previous tenant vacating the premises.
CD Engineering has taken 3,383 sq ft on a six year lease.
John Truslove has three other units on the popular estate under offer and a further 13,624 sq ft available.
