Birmingham-based chartered surveyors and auctioneers CPBigwood celebrated a record year in 2014 for its auction division. Total auction turnover broke the £50 million barrier in 2013 and showed a staggering 25 per cent growth to £62.5 million in 2014 – this in what was regarded as a flat market. CPBigwood senior partner Rory Daly welcomed guests to Bar Opus at One Snowhill as the firm announced its first auction in 2015 had so far raised over £13 million with over 80 per cent of the lots selling. The next auction is at the Holte Suite, Aston Villa FC on Thursday, April 30.
