National audit, tax and advisory firm Crowe Clark Whitehill has promoted Andy Kay to corporate finance partner in its Midlands office.
Mr Kay is an established and trusted corporate advisor in the Midlands, specialising in owner-managed sector businesses, having worked with the SME market for over 15 years.
His experience covers corporate acquisitions and disposals, management buy-outs, fund raising and transaction support for a wide variety of sectors including traditional manufacturing, distribution and logistics, consultancy and technology-led businesses.
His appointment follows that of Mark Evans in January 2015 and underpins the firm’s continued commitment to developing talent across the business. This is the eighth addition to the firm’s partnership in the last 12 months. As the market continues to place more emphasis on advisory services, this positions Crowe Clark Whitehill well to respond to clients’ needs.
David Mellor, chief executive of Crowe Clark Whitehill, said: “I am delighted to see the strengthening of our national advisory offering in Andy’s promotion. It represents a further step in the firm’s strategy of growing its advisory services.”
Johnathan Dudley, managing partner at Crowe Clark Whitehill’s Midlands office, added: “This appointment strengthens our ability to help our clients grow, by way of acquisition and organically, to build profitability, to prepare business for sale and realise their investment. I’d like to congratulate Andy on his promotion and welcome him to the partnership team.”
