AW Repair Group, the vehicle accident repair specialist has secured a 15,000 sq ft unit at Waterloo Court, Markham Vale, in a deal with Henry Boot Developments Limited.
Established in 1998, AW Repair Group is the preferred choice by many vehicle manufacturers and insurance brands in the UK, for accident repair in Lincolnshire, South Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire. It has acquired the building at Markham Vale for its fourth UK operation and to expand its geographical coverage with this new hi tech bodyshop.
Managing Director, Andrew Walsh said: “We have been looking for a fourth location for some time and Markham Vale perfectly fits our plans. With immediate access to the M1 this central corridor is now thrown wide open to AW Repair Group. The site is ideally placed to expand geographical coverage into Derbyshire neatly linking the existing, Rotherham (South Yorkshire) and Newark (Nottinghamshire), locations.
“We selected the site carefully to provide the quality bodyshop space and environment associated with AW Repair Group’s existing sites.”
Markham Vale is a 200 acre business/industrial park located at Junction 29A of the M1 in Chesterfield. The regionally significant site is a joint venture between Henry Boot Developments and Derbyshire County Council. Existing occupiers include Andrew Page, Holdsworth Foods and Industrial Ancillaries.
Waterloo Court is a self-contained development of eight speculatively developed industrial units at Markham Vale. Unit 8 was the last remaining ‘built out’ unit at the site which has enjoyed tremendous success in attracting new occupiers during the last twelve months. The shell has been purpose designed by AW Repair Group for the high tech Bodyshop including two storey office space with an open plan reception.
Ben Ward from Henry Boot Developments commented: “We are delighted to welcome AW Repair Group to Markham Vale. The recent flurry of successful deals here makes it one of the most active enterprise zones in the UK. We recently welcomed Ready Egg and Euro Garages, delivered additional space for Holdsworth Foods and are currently underway with significant new buildings for Gould Alloys and Inspirepac for occupation this summer.”
Markham Vale offers a diverse range of industrial, warehouse and office accommodation ranging from 3,000 sq ft units to over 1 million sq ft. Buildings are available on freehold or leasehold terms, to suit occupier requirements.
