An international supplier of insoles has put its best foot forward for a new unit on a Somerset trading estate.
Foot Active, which sells orthotic and lifestyle insoles, has taken unit 3 at Murray Court, which is the latest extension to the growing Wincanton Business Park.
Property consultancy Myddelton & Major successfully negotiated a four-year lease with the company for the modern premises on an asking rent of £8,000 per annum.
Dean Speer, a partner at Myddelton &Major, said: “Foot Active is one of the world’s leading suppliers of orthotic and lifestyle insoles.
“Founded in Australia, it has substantially expanded its distribution network worldwide and supplies many outlets across the UK.
“The new unit at Wincanton will allow Foot Active to better serve these clients and meet rising demand.”
He added: “Foot Active is just one of a series of businesses we have found premises for across Somerset, Wiltshire, Dorset and Hampshire.
“We expect to successfully conclude negotiations for units at Wincanton Business Park shortly as well as for many others across the wider region.”
Unit 3 measures 1,539 sq ft (143 sq m) and is one of six units at Murray Court.
Major occupiers at Wincanton Business Park include Markus Products, Armishaw Removals and Rochford Garden Machinery.
