FHP, acting on behalf of the Landlord, have completed the letting of 4-6 Central Avenue, West Bridgford to Côte Brasserie, the 60 unit restaurant group with representation throughout the UK. Côte is the highest rated restaurant in the branded casual dining sector, accordingly to a report from November 2012 by PWC.
The property, which was previously occupied by David Holmes Shoes, has the benefit of Planning Permission for A3 Restaurant use and a License.
David Hargreaves, who negotiated the letting, confirmed that the restaurant provides 2,300 sq ft at ground floor with external seating to Central Avenue, together with first and second floor accommodation of 1,640 sq ft. The property has been let on a new lease for 25 years at a rent of £84,000 per annum (£32.30/sq ft).
Harald Samúelsson, Joint Managing Director for Côte Restaurants said “We are delighted to have found this spot in West Bridgford and to be part of such a vibrant community with a flourishing dining scene. We’ve spent time finding the right site that suits Côte perfectly – one with a premium feel but still very accessible.”
David Hargreaves went on to say that the attraction of West Bridgford to the quality restaurant operators coming out of London and the South is testament to the quality of the catchment area of West Bridgford and the surrounding towns and villages and follows the opening last year of Carluccio’s, also on Central Avenue.
Hargreaves said: “There are a considerable number of restaurant requirements still unfulfilled for West Bridgford with quality operators often looking at West Bridgford rather than Nottingham City Centre.”
Côte are due to open the restaurant at Easter after a fit out that is likely to cost up to £1,000,000.
FHP acted on behalf of the Landlords, with Côte Brasserie representing themselves.
