Global fleet management company Total Motion has moved to new premises at Meridian Business Park in Leicester, following a deal by property consultancy Innes England.
Total Motion is the largest family run and privately owned leasing and fleet management provider in the UK. The growing company currently manages fleets in excess of 15,000 vehicles throughout the UK, Europe and across the world.
Simon Hill, managing director at Total Motion, said: “I founded Total Motion in 1998, and we have grown considerably over the last 17 years. In fact, we have increased our turnover by 20% per annum and quadrupled our staff numbers, meaning that our two current buildings were far too small for us.
“We were attracted to Meridian Business Park as it offers more space for our growing team and also large amounts of car parking. The easily accessible location is fantastic for us and we are pleased to have entered a new phase of growth.”
The firm has recently taken up a two-storey 1990s modern office, which provides a mix of open plan and portioned offices. The ground floor comprises of an open plan space, which has been split into two separate suites.
Jenny Clarke, associate director at Innes England in Leicester, handled the deal on behalf of the client. She said: “There has been a significant growth in the demand for commercial space in Leicester over the past 18 months and take-up in the office market reached its highest level for three years in 2014 – with demand evenly split between the city centre and out-of-town markets. Offices of this quality generate a lot of interest and are snapped up quickly – we received interest on the premises from several different parties.
“Meridian Business Park is a highly sought after location for growing businesses, due to its modern offices, strong transportation links and parking levels. These features make it a great place for a business such as Total Motion to move to, and I am sure they will continue to grow from strength to strength in their new location.”
