Hepworth Park, Redditch’s first speculative industrial complex in almost ten years, a brand new development of seven units, is nearing a launch.
Business property agents John Truslove are already marketing the scheme.
John Truslove partner Ian Parker said: “There has already been significant interest with one unit under offer and negotiations advanced with several other parties. Building work is well advanced and units will be ready for occupation in the Summer.
“The new development by Fox Industrial Services is designed to be very flexible, and while we are marketing it as seven individual units of around 1,678 sq ft, it could conceivably be available as one unit of 11,746 sq ft, subject to demand. Units can be adapted and fitted to individual tenant requirements.
“It is a much needed development for the town, where the lack of supply of new commercial premises is starting to have a detrimental effect on jobs with key employers being forced to look outside the area for suitable premises.
“Hopefully the success of Hepworth Park will encourage other developers to consider similar speculative schemes as seen in neighbouring towns such as Alcester, Leamington, Bromsgrove and Worcester.
“It has easy access to the M42 and M5 and units can be combined or adapted to individual requirements.”
The development sits on Brook Street in the popular business area of Lakeside. The lofty warehouse/industrial units have eaves to over 20 feet high.
Generous parking provision is being provided along with space for loading and unloading.
The units are available on new leases from £11,750 plus VAT per annum.
