The EGi Deals Competition compiles rankings across all property types and regions of the UK, based on the number of deals conducted by each agent. In the 2014 competition, the results of which were announced last week, Lambert Smith Hampton victoriously retained its crown as the most active agent in the South East as well as showing it is ‘sitting on the shoulders’ of the leaders on the national stage.
2014 South East most active agent awards
· Overall winner
· Top office agent
· Top industrial agent
· Top three investment agent
Talking specifically about LSH’s strength in the South East, EGi stated: “There is no other region in which an agent enjoys such a commanding lead in deals volumes as Lambert Smith Hampton in the South East. It scored more than double its nearest competitor in office lettings and more than the rest of the top five combined in industrial deals.”
This success is part of a wider strategy for LSH. With a combination of a London base and an entrenched regional footprint, the company is capitalising on a bullish market right across the UK.

· Crowned top UK industrial agent
· Maintained top three office agent placing
· Top three placement overall
On a national stage, EGi gives special mention to the recent Lambert Smith Hampton comeback. It says: “Lambert Smith Hampton called the most active agent title its own in the noughties, but seemed to be in rankings freefall after it was deposed following the 2011 merger between JLL and King Sturge. However, following its 2013 acquisition by resi-specialist Countrywide, the comeback is on: it has bought Northern Ireland’s market leader, BTW Shiells, it is now the clear leader in industrial deals, and in combined lettings volumes, sits right on the shoulders of JLL and CBRE.”
