The Birmingham office of national property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) has boosted its capital markets team with the appointment of a new senior surveyor.
Matthew Jenns joins LSH from GVA, where he worked in the restructuring and recovery department in Birmingham, advising financial institutions and insolvency practitioners about their property assets and portfolios.
The MRICS-qualified surveyor will join Adam Ramshaw, head of office and director of LSH Birmingham’s capital markets team, where he will act for property companies, private investors and institutions.
His focus will be on advising on investment acquisitions and disposals, as well as providing strategic investment and asset management advice on retained commercial portfolios.
“I have long been impressed with LSH’s ambitions and was only too pleased to join the company when the opportunity arose,” said Matthew. “I’m looking forward to developing my skills further and providing our clients with the service that LSH is renowned for.”
Welcoming Matthew to the team, Adam said: “In the six years since he started his career in the commercial property sector, Matthew has undertaken an impressive body of work and we are delighted that he has joined us.
“This is an exciting time for us as we look to boost further our capital markets team and Matthew will play an integral part in our growth plans.”
