As a result of its highly successful entry into the market in the North last year, Saracen Interiors has now moved its northern team from offices in Wetherby to larger premises in Wakefield. The bigger space is better equipped to accommodate the burgeoning team and sends out a clear message that the company has firmly established itself in the North and is committed to growing the business across this geographical spread.
Last month the company announced its first foray into Scotland, with jobs in Edinburgh and Inverness, both of which have been run by the leading workplace consultant’s northern team. The office was also shortlisted for the Northern Design Awards in the Commercial Interior Design Practice and the Innovative Design categories for its work in Yorkshire.
Joint managing director of Saracen Interiors, Michael Page is delighted with the success of the company’s northern office to-date: “We moved into the North in order to meet the needs of one of our long-term blue chip clients who gave us a run of significant design and build projects in Yorkshire. Since then the work has spread and we are gaining further ground, outside of the region, in Scotland and the Midlands. We’ve achieved a lot in a matter of months and the new office reflects our desire to better accommodate our hard-working staff, settling in a more central location, that ticks all the boxes for them, with good motorway access and close proximity to local amenities.
“The fact that we have made the shortlist for design awards in such a short space of time and have grown to the extent that we already need to relocate should inform potential clients, both in the region and beyond, that we’re a door worth knocking on.”
Saracen has a proven track record in improving workplace efficiency and corporate standing with its tailor-made, cost-effective solutions. Besides major fit outs and refurbishments, it offers a complete raft of commercial property services, including small works, facilities management and office moves. The company’s northern office is now located at International House, Trinity Business Park, Wakefield WF2 8EF.
