Award winning commercial property consultancy Harris Lamb has strengthened its team with the addition of an experienced property management accountant.
The business has appointed Louise Harris, a qualified accountant and experienced finance manager with a proven track record, to its management team.
Louise joins the business from Bulleys Chartered Surveyors, and has previous experience at Orbit Property Management and Donaldson Property Management.
Gert Corfield, director, said that Harris Lamb, which recorded its most successful year in its 22-year history in 2014, had expanded the team to cope with the demand for its services.
“We’ve grown over the past two decades from collecting rents of £200,000 a year to more than £25 million, and it’s essential that our accounts team is equipped to manage that effectively.
“Louise is a very experienced property management accountant with strong communication skills and an ability to develop excellent relationships gained through managing large teams.
“In addition, she has been responsible for implementing and streamlining processes to increase efficiency, as well as helping to secure new business, and we have no doubt at all that she will be a great asset to the Harris Lamb team.”
Louise added: “I have worked in property management accounting since 2001 and have experienced various organisations and cultures.
“Harris Lamb has an excellent reputation within the industry and is well respected. I was also impressed by the team’s professionalism. I am looking forward to being part of the team and the new challenges ahead.”
