Birmingham-based mechanical services specialist J S Wright has been shortlisted for no less than four national accolades.
The company, which has its headquarters in Aston and offices in London and Bristol, is a finalist in four categories in this year’s H&V News Awards.
J S Wright is hoping to scoop the awards for Building Services Contractor of the Year, Building Services Project of the Year, Domestic Heating Contractor of the Year and Training Initiative of the Year.
The accolades recognise outstanding initiative, innovation and quality, as well as commercial success and are regarded as the ‘Oscars’ of the heating and ventilation industry.
The nomination for best building contractor has followed a year in which J S Wright achieved a record-breaking turnover of £25m and secured its largest-ever contract, worth over £10m, to equip an apartment and hotel scheme at Indescon Court in East London.
The company’s use of new techniques to save energy, time and resources in fitting out a new riverside apartment complex on derelict land at Fulham Wharf brought the best building services project nomination; while its investment in a new quality engineer and state-of-the-art snagging software led to the training award shortlisting.
Marcus Aniol, Managing Director of J S Wright, said: “We are delighted to be in the running for these four top awards. We make every effort to ensure that our clients receive the highest standards of service and our people receive the highest levels of training and support – and it is terrific that this hard work is being recognised.”
The H&V News Awards will be announced on Thursday, April 16 in front of hundreds of industry leaders in a ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel in Park Lane, London.
