Fusionworkshop, the award winning Cardiff based digital agency, has announced it is doubling the size of its Cardiff office and creating 24 additional highly skilled jobs in response to increasing demand for its services in both the UK and Europe.
The expansion has been backed by £240,000 business finance from the Welsh Government.
Fusionworkshop currently employs 27 people and specialises in the design, development, hosting and support of websites for medium to large enterprises. The company specialises in Sitecore, a world-leading vendor of digital engagement, content management and eCommerce platforms. Fusionworkshop is one of the top Sitecore UK partners.
Founded by Managing Director Chris Short in 1999, the company forecasts a 79% increase in turnover in the current financial year, followed by a projected 45% increase in the 2015/16 financial year.
Economy Minister Edwina Hart said: “It’s good news to hear that Fusionworkshop, an indigenous business with an international client base, is expanding its operations in Wales and creating new skilled jobs in one of our key sectors. This latest investment will take the company to a new level and I am pleased support from the Welsh Government is helping its growth.”
Chris Short said; “Our vision was to become the leading Sitecore specialist in the UK. In terms of capability we are now unbeaten. With more scale and reach we will be able to capitalise on our great credentials and capability to realise our vision.
“We have invested significantly in the business in recent years, especially in attracting and nurturing talent. This expansion is essential to meet the growing demands for our services and to maximise the market opportunities. The Welsh Government support really helps us invest in our strong and successful base in Cardiff.
“We’re significantly expanding the office space in Cardiff, investing in new IT infrastructure and will be recruiting qualified .NET developers and people with complementary skills.
“We’ll put then through our learning and development programme and help build them into ‘best-in-industry’ professionals. We pride ourselves on growing the business sustainably in order to best serve our customers and protect the jobs we create.”
