Acting on behalf of a private client, property specialists NG Chartered Surveyors have let a 3,916 sq ft office on Colwick Quays Business Park in Nottingham.
Parcelhub Ltd has taken Unit 6A/B on the Business Park in a deal brokered by NG director Jonathon Seddon. Parcelhub’s expansion sees the company growing alongside neighbours such as Copley Scientific, BMS, SMC and RH Freight.
Jonathon said: “The key to the success of this deal was our client acting decisively to refurbish the offices to a very high standard, with new carpets, partitions and air-conditioning. More and more we are seeing landlords react to ever-more discerning tenants and our client responded to present the offices exceptionally well to prospective occupiers.
“We wish Parcelhub all the best with their expansion plans and look forward to working with them on the next stage of their growth.”
Both Parcelhub and its sister company Mail Workshop are experiencing huge growth with this year’s combined sales 41 per cent ahead of last year and Parcelhub over 60 per cent. As combined sales approach £12m for the financial year and staff numbers are up by 20 per cent, the companies needed to expand their office space.
Mark Rosenberg, managing director of Mail Workshop, said: “The new offices give us the short term space needed and will see us through our planned growth for at least the next two years. The new furniture and surroundings definitely makes a better place for staff to work too.
“We needed to make some small alterations in order to accommodate our IT requirements including lighting changes but generally the layout and quality of the offices was perfect.
Mark was pleased with the way the deal went. He explained: “Everything was very smooth with the agent and the legals on both sides completed with no hassle. Jonathon at NG was on top of everything right from the initial enquiry. In fact, I was viewing another office with Jonathon and within 10 minutes of my deciding it wasn’t quite right, he’d got us walking around these offices which of course we went on to lease.”
