The rapidly expanding discount retailer, 99p, are to open their first store in Liskeard in the former two storey supermarket store located on Pondbridge Hill, Liskeard.
The prominent store was previously occupied by the Co-operative Group before being let to Appleby Westward (trading as Eurospar). Eurospar closed their store earlier this year and agreed to surrender their lease with The Co-operative Group, who own the head-lease, and simultaneously granted a new 10 year sub-lease to 99p stores.
The store extends to some 20,000 sq ft with a large self-contained car park. Nearby retailers include
99p Stores, a family run business, has over 250 stores located throughout the UK and is the country’s second largest price point retailer.
