Harris Lamb has appointed Andy Smith to its Lease Advisory Team as an associate director as the business builds on the success of 2014.
Andy joins the business after notching up more than a decade working with Jones Lang LaSalle, where he developed extensive experience in a range of skillsets, including advising institutional investors and corporate occupiers.
His remit at Harris Lamb is to help expand the business’ service offering and support existing and new clients alike with his expertise.
Richard Fantham, director at Harris Lamb, said: “We are delighted to welcome Andy to the team. With more than 20 years’ experience in the industry, Andy has a wealth of knowledge in a wide range of areas from high street retail, industrial and landlord and tenant advice.
“With a proven track record for meeting targets, generating business, building client relationships and working closely with colleagues, Andy’s work ethos fits perfectly with that of Harris Lamb, and we’re confident that he will be a great addition to the business,” he added.
Andy said: “Harris Lamb are very well respected in the property market and I have known the lease consultancy team at here for many years and its always been a pleasure to deal with them, although always a tough negotiation!
“Having spent almost 12 years at JLL, I was looking for a new challenge and I was excited by the opportunity to bring my retail and office market experience and work with a close team of professionals and hopefully strengthen what is already a very slick operation.”
Last month, Harris Lamb announced that the business had recorded its most successful year to date since its inception in 1992.
