A new business has taken a shop unit as another successful independent trader opens in a Hampshire town centre.
The Cartridge Factory agreed a new full repairing and insuring lease for 10 years in a prime trading position at unit 12 in the Boulevard, Waterlooville.
Property consultancy Myddelton & Major successfully acted on behalf of the landlord for the new letting.
Simon Lee, Retail Partner at Myddelton & Major, said: “This is one of a series of successful new lettings we have negotiated in the Boulevard recently.
“Demand has sharpened as more new businesses, including many successful independent traders, become attracted to the Boulevard and Waterlooville town centre.
“We anticipate successfully negotiating more new lease deals as we move into the first quarter of 2015, with units already under offer.
“Premises are available on revised rents so we would encourage interested parties to get in contact as soon as possible.”
The Cartridge Factory agreed a lease with an upward only rent review at the end of the fifth year.
Its services include refilling empty cartridges for printers and ICT suites.
Myddelton & Major, who act as letting agents for The Boulevard, have also recently successfully completed new lettings with Kingswell Kitchens and the British Heart Foundation.
The Boulevard is well located in Waterlooville town centre as a busy pedestrian shopping arcade linking the main pedestrianised section of London Road with the Dukes Walk shopping centre.
