Despite the weak office market in Basingstoke, Sun Life of Canada have seen success in letting vacant suites at part of their headquarters building, Matrix House, Basing View.
They have let four suites, which combine to make a total of approximately 12,585 sq.ft. (1,169 sq.m.).
The tenants who have taken space are:
Asset Advantage Limited, specialists in lease based funding, having taken offices two years ago have expanded their business and took additional offices on the ground floor.
Cognia, who provide PCI compliant solutions for the recording, storing and analysing of data communications, took a suite on the sixth floor, having moved offices from both Southampton and London to merge in Basingstoke.
Muse, Basingstoke Borough Council’s appointed developer on Basing View, have taken space to use as a show suite for the development opportunities on Basing View.
Bendicks (Storck International) the renowned chocolate maker, moved their headquarters from Winchester to Basingstoke.
Brian Pickett, of Woodford and Company commented, “All the companies have chosen Matrix House because of the quality environment that is created there and reflects the style and status of these companies”.
Along with Hollis Hockley, Woodford and Company are jointly marketing the remaining suites in the building and can offer from 3,167 sq.ft. up to 7,707 sq.ft. on the same floor at £16.50 per sq.ft.
