Frontline Recruitment, the East Midlands permanent and temporary recruitment specialist is hailing a return to pre-downturn levels of business after winning over 200 new clients during 2014.
The new business drive represented a 26 per cent leap on contract wins, and is the highest since 2007.
The surge in trade has meant that Frontline, which has five offices around the UK, is looking to take on an additional 10 new members of staff during 2015 – an increase of over 10 per cent in its headcount.
The new comes on the back of a new CBI survey which showed that fifty per cent of British businesses are planning to expand their workforce in 2015, with jobs projected to be created in all UK regions, and permanent jobs outstripping temporary work.
Tony Wilmot, co-founder of Frontline Recruitment, said: “After the tempered optimism of the last quarter of 2013, the market for both temporary and permanent staff came roaring back in 2014.
“Whilst we’re still seeing employers adopt a ‘try-before-you-buy’ approach to their staffing needs, permanent placements are now rising faster than at any time since 2007, and this is reflected in the Frontline team’s big rise in new business.
“Frontline’s knowledge of the local market, and of its clients’ staffing needs and requirements means that we’re ideally placed to service this new business, but we’re also looking for quality new recruitment professionals to come and join the team.
“We’re growing and that means our clients will grow with us. It’s a win-win situation, and we look forward to working with clients new and established during 2015.”
Frontline, which has recently undergone a complete rebranding exercise including developing an intuitive new website has offices in Derby, Leicester, Mansfield, Nottingham and Weymouth. The company recently announced a doubling of its staff numbers in Leicester and will move to bigger offices in the city in the first quarter of 2015.
