Colony Capital LLC, a private, international investment firm, announced today that Philippe M. Costeletos has joined the firm as Principal and Chairman of International.
Based in Colony’s London office, Mr. Costeletos, 49, will principally be responsible for identifying new investments outside of the United States, while also taking a significant role in the firm’s worldwide strategy and operations. He will report to Thomas J. Barrack Jr., Chairman of Colony Capital.
Mr. Costeletos was a Partner at TPG Capital, where he served as head of TPG Capital in Europe. Prior to that he was a member of the Management Committee at Investcorp, and also worked at JP Morgan Capital and Morgan Stanley. Mr. Costeletos graduated, magna cum laude, with a BA with distinction in Mathematics from Yale University and received an MBA, Beta Gamma Sigma, from Columbia University.
