National commercial property consultancy, Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH), has appointed Richard Duncan as Senior Surveyor to its Thames Valley Agency team.
Richard, who joins LSH’s Maidenhead office from Hicks Baker, brings more than seven years of Thames Valley agency experience to LSH. Here, he will be responsible for working with existing and prospective clients that own and occupy office and industrial property in Maidenhead, Slough and the surrounding areas.
Richard commented: “Over the last few years, LSH’s brand and reputation in the Thames Valley has made it a real force in the region’s commercial property market. Its regional team spans offices in Maidenhead, Reading, Oxford, Guildford and London, and the way that those teams work together has won LSH some of the most prominent instructions and deals in the Thames Valley. To be a part of that team is therefore a significant career move for me.”
John Williams, Head of LSH’s Maidenhead office, added: “To drive property deals, win prominent instructions and retain the most influential public and private sector clients in the region, it’s imperative that we recruit the best people into our team. As the market remains volatile but continues its recovery, Richard’s appointment will help us build on our success story into 2012.”
LSH completed some of the region’s largest industrial and office deals in 2011, including the 75,445 sq ft industrial pre-let acquired for Selig in Slough, the 900,000 sq ft site acquisition for Tesco at junction 11 of the M4, the 64,000 sq ft office acquisition in Camberley for a healthcare client, and the 208,000 sq ft warehouse pre-let to Brakes Group in Reading. LSH is also appointed on some of the most significant schemes in the region, including Commercial Estates Group’s 80,000 sq ft Horizon scheme in Hurley.
