Leading UK commercial property adviser GVA has appointed Peter Constantine to Regional Senior Director in its Cardiff office.
The appointment strengthens further growth in GVA’s UK business, and sets out a clear endorsement to the business areas and markets where the company sees significant business development uplift.
Peter sits within GVA’s national Hotels and Leisure division and heads up the specialist pub sector team. His promotion highlights GVA’s commitment to backing this niche property sector which continues to go from strength to strength off the back of a buoyant pubs market and impending policy change.
He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS), and was previously Director with Humberts Leisure before the firm merged with GVA in 2011. He specialises in valuation, agency and estate management issues throughout the UK.
The move to Regional Senior Director highlights GVA’s commitment to growth and to maintaining its established regional presence in the South Wales market , where 20 staff are employed across the range of commercial property disciplines, including Agency, Planning, Valuation Consultancy, Hotels/Leisure, Business Rates, Building and Property Management. Peter takes over the reins of RSD in Cardiff from David Mace.
Peter’s promotion is one of three to regional senior director that take effect from January 2015, and one of four new senior directors across GVA’s offices. Jo Davis takes on the role of regional senior director in GVA’s Bristol office, while Jason Sibthorpe takes a similar position in London.
Rob Bould, chief executive of GVA, comments: “These senior director appointments denote our next step in investing in our business at a higher strategic level. By advancing these individuals and the sectors and clients they represent, we’re backing those services that we believe are set to grow exponentially in line with the market and our own business plan.”
