Only two units remain at the popular Raynesway Industrial Estate in Derby following a deal completed by Innes England.
Century Electrical has opened its first branch in the East Midlands after agreeing terms on a 5,000 sq ft unit at the popular scheme.
The firm offers a wide range of electrical products to the electrical trade across five branches in Northern Ireland along with branches in Liverpool and Wolverhampton.
Managing director at Century Electrical, Colin Donnelly said: “We are delighted to have opened our new facility in Derby and look forward to further development of our business in the UK.”
The deal leaves just two vacant units on the scheme, both of which occupy a prominent position onto the A6/A511 (Raynesway). Each unit comprises 5,000 sq ft.
Stuart Waite, associate director at Innes England, says there has been significant interest in the two remaining units.
He said: “The deal with Century Electrical further endorses this location as an established trade warehouse, logistics and light industrial estate with current occupiers including Senate Electrical and H Systems.
“The scheme has excellent transport links both regionally and nationally with easy access to the M1 via the A52 and A50, along with unrivalled prominence onto the busy A6/A511.
“With only two units left, we are confident that improving market conditions and a lack of existing supply across the region will see current interest converted into deals.”
