Businesses in Swansea Bay are entering 2015 with confidence according to the latest results of Swansea Bay Business Club’s Business Barometer.
An impressive 89 per cent of respondents who took part in the survey at the end of 2014 indicated that they felt their business performance would continue strongly or improve over the next quarter. In addition, almost 42 per cent of businesses throughout the region that responded, stated that performance had been on par with that of the last quarter, with almost 38 per cent indicating their business’ performance was somewhat stronger than their performance in the previous quarter of 2014.
President of Swansea Bay Business Club, Bruce Roberts, said that it was encouraging to hear local businesses continuing to talk of the future with positivity: “Swansea Bay Business Club is largely encouraged by these findings and we look forward to the next Business Barometer where we hope to see further evidence that businesses in the area are continuing on the road to recovery in 2015.
“It is also encouraging to see that over a quarter of respondents’ businesses were based outside of Swansea, demonstrating that businesses have embraced the Swansea Bay region concept, which is being driven by the Business Club. We look forward to welcoming more new members in 2015 as the club continues to expand west, with our launch event taking place in the next couple of months.”
Swansea Bay Business Club is launching their first West Wales event later this year.
