DTZ has been instructed to act as joint agent with Lambert Smith Hampton in relation to substantial office space at One Reading Central.
hibu, currently occupying 133,000 sq ft in the building, has surplus space following a recent corporate restructure, which can be let by single or multiple floors.
Jamie Renison from DTZ explains: “We are expecting a high level of interest in this property as the lease has a passing rent of just £28 per sq ft, in comparison with other grade A office stock close to Reading Station, where quoting rents are £33 to £35 per sq ft. In addition, occupiers will be able to save significantly on capital expenditure by taking advantage of hibu’s high quality modern workplace office fit-out.”
Nick Coote, Lambert Smith Hampton’s Head of the Thames Valley, adds: “This is a really good opportunity for any corporate occupier to acquire quality workspace in one of Reading’s best office buildings, right next to the station, taking advantage of improving rail links to London and lower occupational costs.”
