An East Midlands property consultancy has bolstered its senior team with the addition of experienced chartered surveyor Steve Holland as a director.
Steve joins Innes England from Chesterton Humberts in Nottingham where he headed up the commercial and professional department.
The move comes at a time when Innes England is preparing a clear strategy for growth, following the announcement earlier this month that Tim Garratt is to take up the role of managing director from 1 January 2015 when existing MD Robert Hartley will move into a new role as chairman.
Steve said: “Innes England is a very well respected business across the East Midlands and has been for many years. This is an exciting time for the business and I am very much looking forward to being a part of its growth moving forward.
“There are a number of very talented people at the firm, with probably the strongest commercial team in the region, and I am looking forward to what my experience of professional services work can bring to the mix.
“I have gained a great deal of experience in the East Midlands, and have a strong connection to the region, so I was keen to remain here professionally, making this the ideal opportunity for me.”
Professional services expert Steve brings a wealth of knowledge to the team after some 20 years working within the regional marketplace – something which managing director Robert Hartley believes will help in steering the firm to its planned growth.
He said: “Steve joins Innes England at a pivotal point in our development as a business, and comes as part of our strategy to strengthen our team and support our plans for further expansion and delivery that we are already heading for.
“He is a highly acclaimed chartered surveyor, with a strong reputation and we are very pleased to have him take up a role as part of our senior team. I am certain that his experience and proven track record will be of great benefit to our clients.”
