GVA, the UK’s largest independent property company, has further expanded its Retail team with the appointment of former Premiership Rugby Union star, Dan Hyde as a Director in its Manchester office.
With over eight years’ experience in the property industry, Dan’s new role will see him responsible for heading up the Manchester retail team. Duties will include asset management, acquisitions and development appraisals working with developers and retailers both in and out of town. Dan will also be acting on behalf of notable clients including Staples and Smoke Barbeque Restaurant Group.
Dan previously worked as an Associate at Knight Frank, heading up the company’s Retail and Leisure team in Leeds. He has acted for a variety of clients including Wm. Morrison Plc, Sainsbury’s, Terrace Hill, Network Rail and Peveril Securities, advising on various supermarket and retail park developments.
As well as Dan’s vast experience in the property industry, he has also played professional rugby for premiership teams including West Hartlepool RUFC and Leeds Tykes RUFC. Dan is currently a player and coach at the social team Leodensian RUFC.
