Accurates, the business rate audit and compliance division of Colliers International, has made two new appointments.
With over 40 years’ experience in the rating profession, Andrew Swan, formerly Head of Business Rates Audit Recovery at Allsop, joins as a Director. Andrew brings with him a great deal of experience of managing client liabilities and payments for all types of properties throughout the UK and Ireland. He also has extensive experience of handling rate recovery work in the sphere of business turnaround and insolvency.
Previously Revenue Billing Manager for Lichfield City Council, Keith Anderson joins Colliers International’s Accurates team as Rating Compliance and Audit Manager. Keith is an experienced revenues practitioner with specialist knowledge of non-domestic rates, general rates, community charge, council tax and valuation for billing, collection and recovery.
On the appointments, Philip Harrison, Head of Colliers International’s Accurates team said: “These two appointments further bolster Colliers’ credentials as being home to some of the most experience specialists in the rating profession. Keith’s deeply specialist knowledge of revenue billing from his time within various local authorities will be invaluable to the team, while Andrew’s experience of dealing with business turnaround and insolvency rate recovery work will not only be a great asset to the Accurates team but also to our wider corporate restructuring team.”
Accurates is Colliers International’s dedicated business rate audit and compliance division. The team has been set up to examine a business’s historical payment records to identify overcharged rates and return these funds back to our clients’ businesses.
