Julie Forsyth has joined Birketts’ construction team in Chelmsford as a legal director.
Julie qualified as a solicitor in 1991 and, since then, has specialised in the construction and engineering sector. With over 20 years’ experience, she was previously a partner in London and has represented and advised clients on a wide variety of infrastructure projects worldwide including airports, bridges, roads and dams. Julie has acted for engineers and their insurers, as well as main contractors, specialist sub-contractors and suppliers.
Commenting on her appointment, Julie said: “I am thrilled to be joining Birketts, where I will be able to contribute to and share in the success of the team. The construction team was recently ranked in the top tier by Chambers UK 2015 and has an excellent reputation. I am really looking forward to being part of such a well-respected team, and building upon its growing presence in Chelmsford.”
