A Nottingham-based company which is a leader in digital patient engagement and data capture solutions for clinical research organisations and healthcare providers is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a major recruitment drive.
Exco InTouch, which was set up in 2004 by CEO and Founder Tim Davis and has local pharma entrepreneur Neil Rotherham as its chairman, has added 20 members of staff to its team at Wheatcroft Business Park during 2014 – with a further five to start in the New Year. Exco InTouch is also currently recruiting another seven people in Nottingham, which will take its team to nearly 70 in the city alone.
Exco InTouch has also expanded its office in Morrisville, USA with 5 additional staff being taken on in 2014.
Tim Davis, speaking about Exco InTouch’s rapid expansion, said: “The company has undergone exponential growth over the last 12 months, and now Nottingham is the worldwide centre of mobile patient engagement technology.”
“We’re now on the lookout for the next generation of Software Testers, Software Developers, Project Managers and Support Managers to take Exco InTouch onto the next level. We’re confident that by the middle of 2015 we will have doubled the size of our workforce in just 18 months – which is some achievement.”
Exco InTouch recently announced a new first in the clinical technology arena. Having pioneered the use of mobile technology, increasing retention and compliance through engaging and supporting patients, and facilitating the delivery of Electronic Patient-Reported Outcomes (ePRO) via mobile devices, the forward looking company is now the only electronic Clinical Outcomes Assessment (eCOA) provider to have published public-facing apps on all three mobile operating platforms (iOS, Android and Windows8).
Tim added: “Nottingham is home to some of the best developer and programming talent in the UK, and this has helped us break through technological barriers during 2014. We’d urge anyone with similar skills to get in touch and join one of the fastest-growing companies in the city.”
“By utilising the most appropriate everyday mobile and digital technology to engage users and capture accurate data from them, we will succeed, together with our clients in our mission to improve clinical research and health outcomes.”
