Architect Sheppard Robson has been appointed by multi-national asset management company, Schroders, to create a refurbishment programme for the Manchester landmark, City Tower.
The mixed-use scheme comprises 350,000 square feet of office space, which offers the highest available office space outside of London. It also incorporates 23 modern retail and leisure units totalling 80,000 sq ft, a 280-bed, four star Mercure Hotel and 456 car parking spaces, complete with cycle hub.
Sheppard Robson will work with Schroders to develop a refurbishment programme for some areas of the building including enhanced entrances, remodelling of the ground floor atrium and creation of a new business lounge behind a new main reception.
