Spirent opens Swindon base

World leading communications company Spirent has opened its newest UK site in Rombourne Serviced Offices’ Kingston House, Swindon.

Multinational Spirent is a global pioneer in communication systems’ consultancy, testing, analysis and implementation. The world’s biggest telecom companies rely on Spirent to help design, develop and deliver their networks, devices and services. The company is headquartered in Crawley, listed on the London Stock Exchange and has 1,200 customers worldwide.

“Spirent is a hugely successful global company, and we’re absolutely delighted that out of all the office accommodation available in Swindon, they chose Kingston House”, says Rombourne’s Swindon Manager, Tom Endacott.

Kingston House was officially opened by the Lord Lieutenant of Wiltshire, Mrs Troughton, on May 16th, following its purchase and extensive refurbishment by Rombourne. The business centre is situated on Lydiard Fields; a site which is popular with businesses because of its proximity to the M4.

Rombourne’s refurbishment of Kingston House was substantial, and included contemporary interior design, furnishings and decor. The building is Grade A; rated as ‘BREEAM Very Good’, and fully air conditioned.  It also has high speed fibre internet access which Rombourne have capitalised on by installing the very latest Cisco-powered, self-healing network so that tenants like Spirent have ultra-fast, reliable IT.

“We’ve been in business since 1973, and over that time we’ve learnt exactly what companies need from a serviced office provider”, comments Endacott. “As a result, we take care of everything to do with the office, so that our customers are free to focus on their businesses. I think that the success of this customer-driven ethos is borne out by the fact that Spirent chose one of our centres as the location for their newest UK branch.”
