Threadneedle Property Investments Limited has secured a duo of lettings at Tower Court in Coventry.
Following a recent contract win, Capita has taken an additional 11,657 sq ft floor in the former Courtaulds buildings, doubling its occupancy in the building. In addition, BUPA has chosen Tower Court as its new Coventry home, taking 5,250 sq ft on the 1st floor. Both lettings have been agreed on five year lease terms.
Situated 2.5 miles from Coventry city centre, Tower Court was subject to a comprehensive refurbishment in 2001. The former cotton mill was transformed to provide circa 53,500 sq ft of Grade A office accommodation in an attractive setting. The sensitive transformation has seen attractive historic features such as the original clock tower, which dates back to circa 1912, retained.
On the deals, Douglas Bonham, Head of National Offices in Birmingham for Colliers International said: “Coventry has been a subdued market for larger office transactions in 2014, Capita’s expansion in Tower Court one of only three deals of more than 10,000 sq ft to have completed so far this year. Capita and BUPA are two high profile names for Coventry and it’s great that they have both chosen Tower Court for their West Midlands base.”
David Sewell, Group Property Director at Capita represented the company’s interests in the deal. Colliers International and D&P Holt are joint letting agents to Threadneedle Property Investments Limited.
Remaining office suites in the building comprise approx. 5,200sq ft – 11,900sq ft and are currently available.
