Innes England, the leading Midlands property consultancy, has announced that Tim Garratt is to take up the role of managing director from 1 January 2015 – and will steer the firm into an exciting new period of growth.
Current MD Robert Hartley who has successfully headed the multi award-winning firm for more than 10 years, is to move into the role of chairman and head of professional services. He will continue to be involved with the business on a day to day basis.
Tim has been a director for 15 years at Innes England. He says that the firm which employs 55 people across its three offices in Derby, Leicester and Nottingham, is growing rapidly and is ready to meet its ambitious plans for further expansion and delivery.
Tim said: “Robert has strategically steered Innes England through one of the worst recessions this country has ever known. After more than a decade at the helm, Robert will continue to oversee the business as chairman.
“He will be very much involved with Innes England moving forward and he and I will be working closely together to develop our growth nationally. With Robert and the talented Innes England senior team, we have a fresh, energetic line-up which is poised to steer the business in the successful direction it is already heading.”
Robert Hartley said: “I am delighted to welcome Tim into the role of MD at Innes England, a company which is proving itself regionally and nationally. We are in a unique position, with offices across the region, which allows us to offer extensive coverage throughout the Midlands.
“The key to our success is our in-depth knowledge of the regional market and a commitment to deliver results in order to maximise the value of clients’ property.
“We are incredibly strong in the Midlands, and we have plans to improve the way we operate in order to increase market reach – and serve more clients across the UK.”
Innes England has been named the Most Active Agent in the prestigious Estates Gazette poll for seven years on the trot and Agent of the Year five times in the East Midlands.
Tim added: “We pride ourselves on keeping ahead of the game in terms of what we can offer our clients, something which has been reflected in our brand new website which went live at the end of last year following significant financial investment.
“The new site is receiving upwards of 7,000 visitors a month and includes a number of features which make searching for properties and sites incredibly straightforward for users.”
Robert said: “The signs of recovery in the commercial property market are clear to see, and we firmly believe that our talented staff, local market knowledge and tenacity will ensure we continue in our market-leading performance into 2015 and beyond.”
