Brandon Hire, provider of tools and equipment to the building and construction industry, has appointed leading property adviser GVA to provide a range of property portfolio management services for its national estate.
Supporting Brandon Hire at a strategic level to ensure best value from their occupied property, GVA will be offering a full managing agent service including property data management; maintaining all property and lease records; dilapidations advice with landlords; rent reviews and lease renewals; and business rates advice.
Brandon Hire, whose head office is in Bristol, has a national network of depots. With nearly 1,000 employees across the group, it operates in a range of maintenance, building and service sectors with local trade accounts and national contracts with larger customers.
GVA director Marcus Hawkins comments, “Brandon Hire’s portfolio, which comprises primarily leased property, is spread throughout the UK and will therefore benefit from the local advice and knowledge that GVA’s own network of offices will provide, as well as national strategic input across the range of property management services.”
The GVA service property management service includes the use of its Datapoint client reporting tool, which provides a web-based view on a client’s data, significantly improving the delivery of property management services, strengthening communication and analysis of core property data.
GVA offers a property management service that goes beyond the traditional areas of estates and facilities management to add value and maximise returns, offering a full range of services from financial management and front-of-house services – through to a 24/7 helpdesk for tenant enquiries.
