Tuffin Ferraby Taylor (‘TFT’), a leading UK independent building and property consultancy, has made three new appointments at its Bristol office as a result of the continuing expansion of its business in the South West.
Chris Haigh MRICS and Jay Ridings MRICS both join as Senior Building Surveyors working on professional and project work, while Matthew Hutch joins as a Graduate Building Surveyor.
With 13 years’ surveying experience at consultancies including Alder King, Lambert Smith Hampton and, most recently, Rider Levett Bucknall, Chris Haigh brings with him a wealth of experience across a broad range of projects.
Jay Ridings trained and qualified at Watts Group before working at Jones Lang LaSalle and, most recently, Trident. Jay has worked in both the public sector and commercial markets and specialises in dilapidations, acquisition surveys and office and warehouse refurbishments.
Matthew Hutch joins from Affinity Sutton and previously worked at Redhills Analysts and Earth Science Partnership. Matthew has a BSc in Building Surveying from the University of Brighton.
Commenting on the appointments, Neil Gilbert, Partner at Tuffin Ferraby Taylor’s Bristol office, said:
“These appointments follow a very successful 12 months for the Bristol office and an upsurge in instructions across the South West. As we look ahead to 2015 – when Bristol takes its role as European Green Capital – we are pleased to welcome Chris, Jay and Matt and look forward to working with them as we continue to take advantage of the growing opportunities across the region.”
