National property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) has been appointed retail agent for Wulfrun Shopping Centre in Wolverhampton.
The news comes just days after LSH’s retail agency in Birmingham announced that it had been commissioned to act as retail agent for the newly refurbished Queen’s Shopping Centre in West Bromwich.
The consultancy will be working on behalf of centre owners and managers London and Cambridge Properties to attract new retailers, as well as food and beverage outlets.
The shopping centre, located in the heart of Wolverhampton just off Dudley Street with an average monthly footfall of 800,000, has approximately 200,000 sq ft of retail space, including well-known High Street stores such as Primark, Argos and Iceland.
As well as stores, the centre also has a range of bakeries and cafes, while parking is provided via a NCP multi-storey car park, which has 570 spaces.
Richard Jones, director of retail agency at the consultancy’s Birmingham office, said LSH was selected as retail agent after he succeeded in bringing leading international jewellery brand Pandora to the Wulfrun Shopping Centre earlier this year.
“That success, coupled with further key appointments in the retail sector, is helping us to create a strong retail agency presence in the Midlands and we are already working hard to attract new retailers to the centre,” he said.
“The pedestrian flow at Wulfrun Shopping Centre is very strong, which means there are superb opportunities there for retailers who wish to join the tenant line-up in the shopping centre.
“We are talking to a number of retailers and hope these discussions will soon result in an improved tenant mix that will enhance the shopping experience further.”
