An experienced and respected banking professional has joined one of the Midlands’ largest independent accountancy firms to further strengthen its expanding banking and finance team.
Graham Collins has been appointed Associate Director of Banking and Finance at Baldwins Accountants which has eight offices throughout the Midlands having previously worked for Lloyds Bank for the past 38 years latterly as a regional manager in the bank’s invoice finance division.
His appointment is as a result of the upturn in the economy where he will be working alongside Martyn Shakespear, Baldwin’s Director of Banking and Finance, and where the firm is enjoying a strong level of enquiries from existing clients and external sources.
He said: “I enjoyed working in the invoice finance and banking sectors but I am looking forward to transferring the knowledge and experience I have built up over the years to helping clients of Baldwins Accountants and potential new clients.”
Martyn Shakespear, Director of Banking & Finance at Baldwins Accountants, added: “Adding value and differentiating ourselves is a key aspect of Baldwins’ growth strategy and I am delighted to welcome Graham to the team where his wealth of experience is already proving invaluable in supporting and growing our client base from global companies to SMEs across the Midlands.”
