Nationwide supplier of serviced and managed offices, United Business Centres, has announced a strategic reappointment of its core management staff responsibilities.
The move is part of a continued development policy and is designed to strengthen company growth into 2015, by focusing key individuals on specific divisions and further expanding its nationwide portfolio.
Tom Mulvaney, Managing Director of United Business Centres, said: “I am very pleased to announce some changes to the management responsibility structure, which I believe will make better use of our collective experience as we seek to grow the business. I am confident these changes will play to the strengths of the individuals involved, and with the skills and continued support of our entire team, we can look forward to a much stronger growth performance in 2015.”
The announcement focuses on three specific areas of the business: property acquisitions, sales and marketing, and corporate client requirements.
Property Acquisitions: Former Operations Director Richard Johnson, in his new role as Property and Acquisitions Director, will lead in the acquisition of new locations for United Business Centres. His role includes identifying new site
s, expansion of existing sites, and the acquisition of operating business centres outside of the portfolio. He will be responsible for the search, commercial modelling, negotiation and fit-out of each new location building, enabling the company to bring high quality new properties onboard to expand its UK portfolio.
Sales & Marketing: Jane Erasmus, former Regional Sales Director for the North of England, will expand her responsibilities to a nationwide level in her new role as Sales and Marketing Director. In addition to managing the National Sales Office and all members of the sales team, Jane will retain all marketing responsibilities to further promote the United Business Centres brand.
Corporate Solutions: Finally, Lheyton Warby, former Regional Sales Director for the South of England and the Midlands, has accepted a new role as Commercial Director. Lheyton will focus on the unique and bespoke requirements of corporate clients, which involves fulfilling larger and longer-term workplace requirements under managed solutions.
There is increased focus on this part of the business and Lheyton will seek to grow the commercial division, initially with specific attention on the company’s Fleet location, and working in tandem with both Richard Johnson and Jane Erasmus to identify key areas of demand for corporate and managed deals across the country.
As part of its restructure and forward growth plans, United Business Centres is currently working on a number of key property acquisitions and lease renewals, the details of which will be announced prior to the end of the calendar year.
Tom added: “United Business Centres is a strong and growing brand, and we have many talented individuals in our ranks who can help us to continue growing and moving forwards as a company.
“I am delighted with the progress we have made to date and I believe that with these management responsibility changes, we can re-focus the skills and experience of our core team and enable United Business Centres to continue its evolution as a leading supplier of flexible, high quality workspace, into 2015 and beyond.”
