The recent deal at Centrum Park in Cheltenham to Euro Car Parts signals an increase in confidence in the trade counter market, says property adviser GVA, and means the popular business location has just one vacant unit remaining.
There has been strong take up for industrial property in the first half of the year, with demand led by the trade counter sector, as well as companies serving the changing retail markets, according to the company’s industrial property team in Bristol.
The letting of 7,582 sq ft at Unit 5, Centrum Park – an established industrial and trade counter location – to Euro Car Parts has been signed on a ten year lease, at a rental of £6.50 psf. Euro Car Parts specialises in all major car parts and car maintenance essentials, and has over 160 branches in the UK supplying more than five million cars and light commercial vehicles via garages, bodyshops and fleet service centres, as well as direct to the public.
Vicci Morris, Senior Surveyor at GVA in Bristol says: “Centrum Park is a great trade counter and roadside location, conveniently positioned off Tewkesbury Road, one of the major arterial routes through Cheltenham, with direct access to the city centre and M5 motorway and surrounded by excellent local amenities.
“This deal to a national occupier signals an increase in confidence in the trade counter market, and demonstrates the popularity of Centrum Park, which now has just one unit remaining.”
Centrum Park’s final unit comprises a modern detached warehouse / industrial building totalling 7,582 sq ft providing 11 car parking spaces, within a popular trade counter location.
