Just as concerns are voiced of a shortage in office stock in the Midtown area, Carmel Holdings Ltd launch the availability of 18 Holborn, a comprehensively refurbished office building totalling 17,159 sq ft, with a breakfast reception.
The building has been refurbished to provide highly specified office accommodation within a six storey office building behind an attractive period façade. This included the provision of a new dedicated entrance, new shower facilities, bike storage, and new M & E.
The open plan offices are located on the south side of Holborn, close to Chancery Lane Underground station, offering a mix of floor plates from 1,480 sq ft to 4,374 sq ft.
Chris Wright of Hartnell Taylor Cook LLP, acting jointly with GN2 said: “18 Holborn comes onto the market just as the supply for good quality space within Midtown is at its lowest level for several years. We are anticipating strong demand due to the quality and configuration of the accommodation being offered.”
This is Carmel’s first major refurbishment project in the capital. Work commenced on the refurbishment of the offices in 2012 and was project managed by Hartnell Taylor Cook’s Project & Building Consultancy team and Hartnell Taylor Cook LLP are retained as the managing agents.
The joint marketing agents, Hartnell Taylor Cook LLP and GN2, are offering the accommodation on a new lease either on a floor by floor basis or as a whole and are guiding a rent of £57.50 per sq ft.
