The new Leader of the City & County of Swansea will set out his vision for the future of Swansea city centre when he addresses business leaders at Swansea Bay Business Club’s business lunch on Friday 17th October.
Councillor Rob Stewart will talk to the club about his plans to revisit previous decisions as he recognises the need to regenerate the city centre. He will highlight what he sees as action areas for the foreseeable future, sharing his ethos of the Council’s development into one of an enabling authority.
The lunch will be held at the Village Hotel in SA1 at 12.15pm for a 1pm start. Bookings can be made for full tables or individual seats, with tickets costing £25 per person.
The event is the latest in a series of business networking lunches with high profile speakers organised by Swansea Bay Business Club. The last event on September 26th, saw an exciting talk from Debra Williams, former Chief Executive of Confused.com and Tesco Compare, which was attended by 120 guests.
Club President and Secretary, Bruce Roberts, said: “Swansea Bay Business Club is pleased to welcome Council Leader Rob Stewart as the guest speaker at our next business networking lunch. We are sure both old and new members will be very keen to listen to him articulate his plans for the future development of Swansea city centre, which is a key concern for many businesses across the region.”
